Flux overview

Flux is an AI hardware engineer. Flux works across electronics, firmware, mechanical design, wire harnesses, simulation, and manufacturing in one project.

Start a conversation

Open the project and select the Chat panel. Enter a question or describe the device you want to design. Select Agent for design work or Chat for discussion and review.

Start a new thread when you want to keep a separate workstream. Flux uses project context such as the schematic, PCB, 3D parts, components, nets, layout rules, manufacturing settings, project files, and Knowledge.

Design actions

Flux can select, add, edit, and remove parts. Flux can create and update schematics, arrange and route a PCB, write firmware, create mechanical parts and assemblies, design wire harnesses, run simulations, and prepare manufacturing information.

Ask Flux to explain the design, calculate a value, compare design options, or make a change. Flux records project changes so you can review the design history.

Flux can also review design checks, extract information from datasheets, and prepare fabrication files, quotes, and orders.
