Project files and interactive pages

Flux is an AI hardware engineer. Flux turns your idea into requirements and keeps them in the project files with the design.

Keep your specs, research, design decisions, and test results with the design. Your team and Flux then work from the same context. Ask Flux for a one-off engineering tool, and Flux builds it as a live page in the project.

Use project files to keep engineering documents and interactive pages with your design. Flux can create documents, calculations, checklists, and interactive views in the project.

Open project files

Ask Flux to create or update a document in the project files.

Create a requirements document for this device. Include the power, size, weight, and environment requirements.
Add the key datasheet findings for U1 to the design notes.
Create a test plan for the enclosure fit and the board bring-up.

To open project files in the UI:

  1. Open the project.

  2. Select Files in the project view switcher.

  3. In the Documents panel, select New to create a document.

  4. Select a document in the list to read or edit it.

Use documents for requirements, design notes, datasheet findings, code, firmware, and test plans.

Create an interactive page

Ask Flux to create an interactive project page for calculations or design reviews. The page can include inputs that update results, a checklist, or an interactive 3D assembly.

Create a live power budget page for this board. Let me change the load currents and show the total power for each rail.
Create a bring-up checklist for this board. Group the steps by power, programming, and sensor tests.
Create an interactive 3D assembly of this device. Let me inspect the parts and take the assembly apart.
Create a live battery-sizing page. Let me change the battery capacity and load profile, then show the estimated run time.
Create an interactive clearance review for this enclosure. Show the board, connectors, battery, and mounting points.
Create a mounting-bracket design note with the hole spacing, load requirement, material, and manufacturing process.
