Wire Harness Quotes and Orders
Get a real price for the cables in your device in the same chat where you design them. Flux is an AI hardware engineer. Flux builds the harness from your design and gets a quote from a harness manufacturer.
Wire harness quotes
Ask Flux to quote a harness between project connectors.
Give Flux the harness length. Flux matches pins that share a net, finds mating cable housings, and selects wires. Flux returns the price, price breaks, lead time, and a checkout link.
Get a quote
Tell Flux which connectors the cable joins, how long it is, and how many cables you need.
Open the Chat panel in your project and enter the request. Flux sends the harness to MiniProto, a harness manufacturer in the USA, and shows the offer in the chat:
The price for each cable, the setup fee, and the total.
The price breaks for larger quantities.
The lead time in business days.
The mating housings, and the wire family, gauge, color, and length of each wire.
When you do not give a quantity, Flux quotes one cable. Flux states each value that it chose for you, so you can change it before you order.
This example shows the price breaks of a quote for a 200 mm cable:
Quantity | Price for each cable |
|---|---|
1 | $9.19 |
25 | $7.07 |
100 | $6.13 |
For 10 cables, the total is $127.23, with a one-time setup fee of $50.63. The lead time is 20 to 40 business days.
Give the cable length
Tell Flux the length of each cable. The length depends on where the boards and connectors are in the device and how the cable runs between them.
When the request has no length, Flux asks for the length before it quotes. Reply with the length in the chat.

Change the quote
Tell Flux what to change. Flux makes a new quote with the new values.
Enter the change in the same chat thread. Flux keeps the connectors and the pin-to-pin wiring, and changes only the values that you give.
Order the harness
Tell Flux that you want to order the quoted cable.
Flux gives you the checkout link for that exact cable. The connectors, the wire list, the colors, the length, and the quantity are already filled in. Open the link and pay on the MiniProto site. A MiniProto engineer reviews the cable before production. The link is valid for 7 days.
